On January 20, 2025, “We, the People of the United States” declare our independence from Day One dictator Donald Trump and his MAGA oligarchy.

“No other country in the developed world has “for-profit” health insurance. And you know what, that’s why they have lower healthcare costs than we do. Their people aren’t burdened with the cost of supporting billionaire health insurance executives millionaires who work for them.” Dr. Thom Hartmann

For many years, there has been a stranglehold of the “Profits over People” mentality among health insurance CEOs. These profiteering leaders care more about Medicare reimbursements, pharmaceutical costs, their patients’ payments, and their profits than they do about their patients.

Last year, the health insurance industry reported $70.7 billion in profits while 41% of Americans are stuck with medical debt.

Listening to the sweet cha-ching sound of profits, these health insurance CEOs do not hear the complaints of their emotionally and financially distressed patients. They care more about their profits and could not care less about their patients.

Well, no more! Let’s be revolutionary to improve the patient experience. Let’s not allow corporate health insurance CEOs to be the middlemen between patients and doctors, Medicare, and pharmaceutical companies. Ultimately, the lives of patients and caregivers will be enriched.

This is our time. Let’s be revolutionary! Let’s make healthcare reform GREAT out there! Vive la Revolution!

On January 20, 2025, “We, the People” of our United States, under Constitutional Law, declare our independence from the cohort of health insurance CEOs and billionaire corporate CEOs like Elon Musk, Day One dictator wannabe Donald Trump, his MAGA Nation oligarchy.

I have been a strong supporter of Bill’s since 2010, enjoyed his messages and events but bringing politics into your customer service is a bad move, any rookie knows that, Bill! It would seem you’ve lost your touch, do some research. Such a shame.

  2. Mr. Woelfort.

Since you have supported my customer service insights and those of my fellow CX experts on my posts, I have and will always appreciate you. So, I will explain why I said what I said for you to agree to disagree with my perspective. To preface it, even though we agree to disagree, I hope we can interact openly and honestly without being disagreeable. Whether you do or do not read my customer service posts in the future, as you have read my past blog posts for over a decade, I have and will always very much appreciate you.

So, to start, I have not brought politics into the game, rather American values, not what is right-wing Republican or left-wing Democrat, but basic human rights for ALL Americans where “We, the People” want to be ensured of our healthcare, housing, and food needs.

With GREAT respect to you, I am not a rookie. I have personally done my research. Literally. Unfortunately, I suffered a stroke in April 2021. So, I have slurred speech and a dead right side.   Since my stroke, I’ve gone from Mr. “Let’s be GREAT out there!” as GM/Managing Director to Mr. Invisible sequestered with my wife in my San Diego apartment.

Since then, I have paid the price, again, literally, with the hardships I have endured to not only physical and occupational therapy, but also with costs from health insurance companies, namely United Healthcare, that have been the middlemen between me and my doctors, Medicare, and pharmacies.

As a 69-year-old senior who was unexpectedly unemployed,, given the emotional and financial distress I have experienced, I empathize with all patients who have suffered to just “make ends meet.”

Of the hundreds of my blog subscribers, I have lost just one who asked that I remove her from the list this week. I hope that since I promise you my proclamation as a patient care advocate will be my last, I hope you will continue to read my blog for many years. Whether you do or not, as you were my blog supporter since 2010, I will always very much appreciate you. Thank you very much for listening.

Since this is the start of the holiday season, I wish you and yours a future of GREAT health, happiness, success, and prosperity. May your Holiday and New Year celebrations be GREAT out there!
